Meet Jonathan Kristan, MD, FAAO

Building upon a legacy of exceptional eye care, Dr. Jonathan Kristan is a distinguished ophthalmologist. As the son of renowned surgeon Dr. Ronald Kristan, he brings a unique blend of inherited wisdom and a fresh perspective to WINK Aesthetics by Atlantic Eye.
Education

Dr. Jonathan Kristan, MD, FAAO, has an extensive and distinguished educational background. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. Prior to that, he undertook an internship in Internal Medicine at NYU Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Dr. Kristan earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. He also holds a Post-baccalaureate Premedical Certification and a Bachelor of Arts degree, both from Columbia University in New York, NY.

Dr. Jonathan Kristan is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist with several honors and affiliations. He is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch Campus, Hackensack Meridian Health, Riverview Medical Center and Red Bank Campus. As well, he is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). Dr. Kristan’s accolades include the John C. Henderson Award for Mathematics, the Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar award, and the Mary Owen Borden Memorial Foundation Award for Scholastic Achievement and Contribution to Community.
