With a distinguished career spanning decades and an impressive track record of over 10,000 successful surgeries, he is recognized for his refined techniques and deep understanding of ocular anatomy. A true pioneer, Dr. Kristan was the first surgeon in the United States to develop and perform a specialized laser procedure for tearing and has dedicated significant time to training ophthalmologists worldwide. He has been repeatedly honored as a "Top Doctor" by Castle Connolly and New Jersey Monthly. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Kristan is a global educator and humanitarian, leading medical missions to deliver surgical care to underdeveloped areas around the world.
Building on a legacy of exceptional eye care, Dr. Jonathan Kristan brings a unique blend of inherited wisdom and modern innovation to WINK Aesthetics. A ophthalmologist, he earned his degrees from Columbia University and Stony Brook School of Medicine before completing his residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Kristan specializes in advanced cataract surgery and oculoplastics, having completed advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery. His aesthetic philosophy is rooted in harmony and proportion, prioritizing a collaborative approach to ensure results look entirely authentic to each patient. Outside the clinic, he is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is passionate about helping patients live more confident, empowered lives through personalized care.Dr. Kristan also has been a valuable member of the medical mission team helping to bring sub-specialized eye surgery to these underserved areas.
Jessica began her nursing career in the surgical trauma intensive care unit, where caring for highly complex patients sharpened her clinical judgment and technical expertise. She later advanced her practice as a Nurse Practitioner on a surgical team, gaining extensive experience treating a wide range of medical conditions. After 18 years at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, Jessica returned to New Jersey in 2021 to pursue her passion for aesthetic medicine.
Bringing together her strong surgical background, medical precision, and artistic eye, Jessica is excited to offer personalized, results-driven aesthetic treatments. She is dedicated to integrating advanced technology with individualized care to help patients look refreshed, confident, and like the best version of themselves—inside and out.
Jessica earned her Master of Science in Nursing from New York University in 2009 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 2003.
She lives in Little Silver with her husband, their three young daughters, and their cockapoo, Brody.

She brings a background in massage therapy to every treatment, creating a calm, comfortable experience while delivering effective, personalized care. When she’s not in the treatment room, she enjoys cooking for her three children and her dogs.
With 7 years experience in the medical field and 5 years as a licensed aesthetician, Ashley blends clinical precision with a passion for skin health and helping people feel healthier in their own skin.
